Who's Next For Lesnar

Well, it now seems inevitable that after his fight in August with Affliction, the floundering mma league started by Donald Trump, Fedor Emelianenko will have to come to UFC if he wants to continue his legacy as the greatest mixed martial artist around. This could set up a fight between Lesnar and Fedor that would be one of the most anticipated fights in the history of mma. I for one hope it happens and Fedor puts Lesnar out of mma for good, the guy is a prick. Long live Fedor.

Bisping Video

UFC 100 Results

Well, UFC 100 is in the books, and every single favorite won. This does not mean the night was without some drama. The Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping fight was great. Bisping kept circling into Dan Henderson's right hand and eventually got caught right on the chin. Bisping was out before he hit the mat, but this didn't stop Henderson from dropping one more viciouos blow to Bispings unconscious body. In he post fight interview, Henderson admitted it was intentional and that he wanted to shut Bisping up for a while. Mission Accomplished.

GSP vs Thiago Alves went as everyone expected. St. Pierre dominated Alves, taking him down time and time again. GSP landed some heavy ground and pound shots and had Alves bleeding from his nose early. All judges scored it five rounds to zero for St. Pierre. Joe Rogan made a funny comment during the fight when he said that there was no one at 170 to challenge GSP, and that Alves might as well retire because he will never beat him.

The best part of the Lesnar vs Mir fight wasn't the fight itself, but the post fight interview. After Lesnar completely dominated Mir and turned his face into a swollen, bloody mess, he proceed to antagonize the crowd as they booed louder and louder. He put on a show after the fight that reminded me of the old WWF post match interviews that I used to watch as a kid with Mean Gene and Jesse the Body. He was disrespectful, and he really wasn't transending what the sport is supposed to be about. That said, who the hell is gonna stop this monster. His size and strength are unmatched in mma and if he improves as a fighter, he could be the champ for quite a while.

UFC 100

This fight card is one of the greatest fight cards every put together by the UFC, my hats off to Dana White. Two championship fights as well as an experienced undercard should make for one hell of a night for MMA.

Dan Henderson, the former Pride champion, is going against Michael Bisping. Bisping has a record of 18-1 and should give Henderson, 24-7, a great fight. Henderson is 38 yrs. old and on the downside of a great career and it remains to be seen if he has enough left in the tank to handle Bisping's excelent conditioning and heart. Henderson does have knockout power in both hands which always makes for an excellent fight.

Georges St. Pierre is fighting Thiago Alves for the 170 lb championship. GSP is considered by most the best fighter at 170 lbs. He has great takedown defense and jiu jitsu as well as top notch conditioning. GSP will need every bit of his skill to defeat Thiago Alves, who is coming off a monster knockout of UFC legend Matt Hughes. Alves is a Muay Thai figher and would be best served standing and trying to knockout the smaller GSP. If GSP can takedown Alves look for GSP to ground and pound his way to another TKO.

The main event of UFC 100 is Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir. This fight is a big question mark in my book. Lesnar defeated Randy Couture for the heavyweight championship last year, but not without the much smaller Couture opening a cut on Lesnar's face and seeming to be able to stand and pound with the 270 lb Lesnar for quite some time. It remains to be seen if Lesnar has continued to progress in his developement as a fighter or if he will try to simply overpower Mir. Frank, on the other hand, is making a triumphant comeback to the top of the lightheavyweight division after a terrible motorcycle accident. After a couple bad losses and his serious accident, Mir had given up on mma altogether. But a pep talk from his wife got him back into the ring, and has him on the verge of becoming the UFC undisputed heavyweight champion.

UFC 79

Wow, what a night of fights that was. I can't believe how easily Liddell beat Silva. Silva's face was so messed up he was almost unrecognizable. Anyone else would have been knocked out though, he showed some heart staying in there and swinging away.

How about GSP! Matt Hughes looked like a scrub in there! Hughes is gonna have to go back to the drawing board if he wants to have a chance at ever beating that guy again. Anyone catch the interview after the fight? Hughes pretty much said GSP is the best and I can't beat him. That was priceless. I love to see a cocky a**hole get humbled!!!!! UFC never disappoints!

Manny Gamburyan

I dont know if anyone saw this little ball of hate on last year season of TUF but he is the real deal. The only reason he didn't win the TUF finale is because of that nasty shoulder dislocation he suffered. Mind you, he beat Nate Diaz's ass until he got hurt. I can't wait to see this guy back in there and I hope his shoulder holds up. UFC 79 should be one hell of an evening!! Can't wait.
